Hi, I'm Siyuan.
I'm currently studying Economics @University of Washington, with a minor in Informatics and Data Science to fuel my passion for user-centered-design, and information management. In the past, I've worked as a UX Designer lead for @ iCare UW research project and Superstar Graphic designer @24/7 Teach.
Area of expertise
I'm a user experience designer who is enthusiastic about crafting designs that are straightforward yet impactful. I have a strong faith in the transformative power of design. By developing products that address complex issues and turn ideas into reality, I aim to simplify and enhance people's lives. My work is driven by empathy and a commitment to inclusivity, especially for vulnerable groups like the elderly. With a background in Economics, Informatics, and Data Science, I approach design challenges with both analytical rigor and a human-centered perspective.
Currently learning
I am currently developing my skills in IoT design with a focus on elderly care, specifically addressing mental health challenges among seniors. I’m exploring how technology can monitor vital signs, provide emergency alerts, and even support emotional well-being through accessible digital platforms. This work is driven by a mission to bridge the technology gap for older adults, ensuring that solutions are intuitive, inclusive, and supportive of both physical and mental health needs.
